This last weekend a Howerton/HFS-4 equipped car set the record for a CTS-V in the Mile at 192.6mph. This car is equipped with our new 2.5 gallon baffled and sumped tank and an Aquamist HFS-4 injection system. If you need a setup that’s going to work the best for your V, don’t hesitate to call us.
We are currently working on a system for a E60 535. If you in the Northern California area and would be willing to bring your car by for some measurements please contact us. Thanks.
We will be receiving a batch of HFS-4 boards next week for the upgrade program to begin. Once we begin shipping, there will be one week to get your name in on the upgrade then it’s closed. We may not have everything shipped in that week, but we will cease to take new names.
I will make one final post when the shipping begins with the cutoff date.
As for those than are signed up. I will send a PM when we have the boards in hand, or you can send me an email with HFS-4 Upgrade in the title and we can get the payment and shipping arrangements setup.
This will happen the month of May. There will be a signup on the Aquamist forum to put your name and controller SN. The price breakdown is as follows:
Purchased between Dec 1 2011 and Feb 27 2012 $50 exchange
Purchased between Jan 1 2011 and Nov 30 2011 $150 exchange
Older than Jan 1 2011 $250 exchange.
After the month of May, this upgrade program will end.
HFS-3 to HFS-4 UPGRADE: Preliminary Info (Subject to change): We have some details for those wanting to upgrade their HFS-3 controller to a HFS-4. If your HFS-3 kit was purchased after Dec 1st 2011, the upgrade will be $50 with exchange of your existing controller. If the unit was purchased between Jan 1st 2011 and Nov 30th 2011, the cost will be $150 on exchange. After the HFS-4 GB ends, we will post up the procedure for the exchange process, this offer will most likely be limited to a 30 day window.
The group buy will be held on the Aquamist forum at waterinjection.info If not a member already, you will need to register. Scroll down to the HFS-4 sub forum, and be ready to put your name on the list when it opens.
The HFS-4 is officially here. We have preliminary product information, and this kit is hot. Many of the improvements are of a big benefit to both regular and Direct Injection applications. The main changes are new inputs and tuning functions to tailor the injection to the application, whatever in may be.
New extended reach jet is available for thick wall manifolds or other applications where the spray from the standard jet might hit the boss the jet is installed in. Available with either standard jet internals, or also with internal check valve and filter. Ideal for direct port applications in the latter arrangement. Available in all sizes, .3mm through 1.0mm.
This is a special order item only, built to order so plan ahead with your ordering for any projects. Please contact us for pricing and lead times.
Due to a few requests, we have adapted our popular twin tank unit to fit in the cubby area of the E39 BMW. The unit features two 1 gallon tanks mounted to a power coated aluminum plate. One tank is baffled and feeds the pump, the other tank contains the level sensor. The tanks are tied together with large diameter tubing to self level.
The unit drops in the cubby without any modifications. We will be posting up more pictures as the first of these units are installed in cars.
We recently had a call from a customer to install a system on his 99 Audi Wagon. The customer was concerned about having a tank in the car, so it was decided a fuel cell would be appropriate for the use of the car and system. So the car was dropped off and the install of an HFS-2 and fuel cell system began. We discovered that most of the rear floor of the truck has the fuel tank under it, so drilling a number of holes for mounting the tank wasn’t the best idea, and there wasn’t time to remove everything to get the fuel tank dropped. Therefore a aluminum brace that stretches across the car bolting to two anchor points was fabricated to hold the cell in the rear. Below you will find a few pictures, with many more in the Audi section of the Image Gallery. The install turned out pretty well with the HFS-2 button in the switch panel of the dash.
